Brian Fisher was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. He began his art studies at North Seattle Community College, which had, at the time, one of the few Associate degrees in Fine Art in the country.  After finishing that degree, Brian transferred to the University of Washington where he earned his Bachelors of Fine Arts in Painting.


After graduation he moved across the country to Bethesda, Maryland, where he enjoys the rich art within the many museums of Washington DC, New York and Boston.
 

Brian occasionally takes or assists with classes at Yellow Barn studios, and is currently an Artist in Residence at Artists and Makers Studios. He teaches art at a private high school in the Greater DC area and is the lead instructor and guide for Calleva’s white water rafting program,

 His portraits, paintings and sculptures are displayed in private residences across the United states and in Europe. .  


Personal

Brian enjoys the chaos of a family life with three boys, ages 9-21. When he isn't painting or throwing a football, he's usually fixing something around the house or remodeling a bathroom.
